Antonia joined iM4TB in July 2020 to support the operational management of the foundation. She holds a Master degree in Life Sciences and Technology from the EPFL. To complete her Master thesis in neurosciences, she spent one year in a brain imaging laboratory at Harvard/MIT in Boston. After a couple of experiences as an intern in Berlin and Tokyo, she started working for the British Embassy in Berne to foster Swiss foreign investment into the UK, including in the Life Sciences sector. Just before joining iM4TB, Antonia spent six years working as a Senior Project Coordinator in the Translational Medicine team at Medicines for Malaria Venture (MMV), a leading product development partnership (PDP) in antimalarial drug research. During that time she acquired a certification in Project Management through the Project Management Institute (PMI), and attended courses at the University of Geneva in Management of Clinical Trials.
